I got the following submission from a visitor at FreeKidCrafts.com and simply had to share it here as well.
It’s very cute and a picture is worth a thousand words!
Very easy craft to do with kids. I used paper plate and let kids stick some tissue paper on. I help them with drawing eyes and peak, then they cut them out. For wings to go through i cut line with art knife. Showed them how to fold paper for wings. Added tail from tissue paper, you can even punch hole in the middle and hang the bird in child’s room.

I’d love to see what you’ve been up to this summer!
On a personal note… I know I’ve been absent from Kid Crafts Magazine for quite awhile. As you all know, life just gets in the way sometimes. But I’m fighting to get back on top of things and you can expect to see new stuff more frequently!
Best Wishes,
Chris

Hi Chris Yates,
So sorry for the late reply. I had a big problem with my computer.
I think the Blue Bird Craft is lovely, and I will use it to teach my
18months to three years class at our Childrens church.
Regards.
Shirley Simon.
