We've been really into watermelon at our house this summer so I thought I'd ad this simple craft:

Paper Plate Watermelon

Paint the center of a cheap paper plate red. Paint outside edge of the plate green. When the paint is dry, cut the plate in half to make a watermelon slice. Glue watermelon seeds on red section.

You can also use a pair of those fancy edged scissors to cut out a small half circle from the flat edge to make it look like someone took a bite of watermelon.

Any other watermelon ideas?

Chris
