3 Super Simple St. Patrick’s Day Crafts

in Crafts, Holidays, Recycling, St. Patrick's Day

Time is starting to get short for St. Patrick’s Day crafts, so I thought I’d put together a few really simple, no planning necessary ideas for you to do with the kids.

If you’ve got some ideas of your own, I hope you’ll share them!

Simple Potato Prints

Cut a potato in half and dip the flat side into green paint. Stamp onto construction paper. You could take this a step further and turn the prints into people, heads, animals, etc. after the prints dry. You can also sprinkle glitter on the wet paint. Younger kids just enjoy stamping even if it doesn’t look like anything in particular.  This craft is REALLY popular with younger kids!

Shamrock Wands

Cut two shamrocks out of green construction paper.  (You can use this shamrock template.)  Glue one shamrock on either side of a craft stick, dowel, or straw and let dry.  Of course you’ll glue the shamrocks to just one end of the wand.  This is your basic wand.

Decorate your wand with glitter or staple streamers to the shamrock to make it really fun.

Textured Shamrocks

Cut a shamrock out of green construction paper.  (You can use a shamrock template)  Glue on pieces of macaroni, rice, beans, glitter, packing peanuts, tissue paper, color the macaroni, etc.

These are really simple St. Patrick’s Day Crafts!

I was wondering if you can tell from your end why I’m not getting them any longer!
Thanks so much!!
