I use brown paper grocery bags for the headband . Not easy to find these days in the markets, but if you ask, they have them. Usually I do the construction paper feathers, but this yr. invested in some feathers from Michael's.....Or have saved bird feathers the kids find in the yard just for their Indian headbands...crow or bluejay feathers..They work, too!! You can also make Indian vests from the paper bags if you measure and cut them correctly and fringe the bottoms. The kids love to dress up!!!
