Foam Rose Craft – Video

by Chris · 14 comments

in Crafts, Halloween, Scouting, Video

This foam rose craft project is probably best left to bigger kids, but it would be a really great craft idea for Girl Scouts. It would also work really well as a classroom craft or a Boy Scout craft if you’re group wanted to make gifts for Mother’s Day, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, etc.

The timing of this video might be a little off season, but I really liked it and wanted to share! Enjoy!

The end of the video is missing. What do you do with the last piece of red foam and the leaves? Are there written instruction for the foam rose?

Is there a part two? It ends abruptly before the instructions are through.

This is an awsome craft and very easy to do, my daycare will really enjoy doing this… and very cheap to do. Thank you so much for sharing. This was a great way to share this, to be able to see how it is done first hand, made this craft so much easier to follow.

I like the video but I also wish I could see what she does with the one diffrent shape, the video shuts down as soon as the flowers are done, it does not show what to do with the one red shape with the points and it does not show how to put the leaves on, but I did figure that one out, it is the other part, I have no idea how to do that. Thank you

The video is very nice and the lady on it is really good at making the flower, but… the video stopped before the end!!??

I would like to know what to do with the long pieces that looks like a smile. I presume it goes on the inside but it would be nice to the real way of doing it
Thank you

Why does the video not show how to use the “smile” shape piece and the leaves??
Very disappointed.

Sorry about that guys! I didn’t realize that the video was broken up into two parts. The woman in the video doesn’t ever talk about the leaves, so I guess we’ll have to just figure that part out ourselves.

I still think this is a clever use of foam and it could be adapted to all kinds of projects!

The second video says what to do with the smily type piece it just doesn’t show it. As for the leaves – use the floral tape to wrap the stick and use the extra length at the bottom of the leaf to secure to the stick (wrap it in as you are wrapping the floral tape around the stick).

location of the leaves on the stick is completely up to you
