Father's Day at Kid Crafts Magazine

I'm sorry that this issue is so late and so close to Father's Day when it comes out. The time just got away from me. Hopefully some of you are still looking for last minute Father's Day ideas and can get some use out of the ideas here.

Best Wishes and Happy Crafting!

Little KidTM Crafts

  • Puzzle Card - This is one of the easiest and most fun greeting cards to make. Purchase a blank puzzle and draw a Father's Day picture on the front of it with markers. When your picture is complete, break the puzzle apart and put all the pieces in an envelope and seal it. It's a blast to see the look on Dad's face when he opens the envelope and pours out the pieces. Depending on how skilled the card's artist is, it make take Dad awhile to put his Father's Day card together... giggle, giggle!

  • Danielle's Place for Father's Day - This page is an absolute treasure trove of great craft ideas for Father's Day. There are several cute cards to choose from, as well as some great gifts that kids can make for Dad. I'm including this resource in both the "little kid" and "big kid" section because there are so many great ideas here.

  • Popsicle Stick Business Card Holder - What a cute gift this can be for Dad. You can decorate it with objects that fit Dad's hobbies or his job and he'll have a great useful gift.

  • LEGO Picture Frame - You can make this frame out of any LEGOs you have available. This one is made with a hinge on the back so it can fold up, but you can make yours where you just tape a picture on the back.

  • Best Dad Certificate and Photo Frame - If you're looking for a last minute idea for Dad, just print out this certificate and photo frame. They make a nice gift set and Dad will enjoy the sentiment even if it is a last minute gift!

  • Emoticon Magnets - This is a really cute idea that even younger kids can do with a little help. Younger kids create the emoticon faces while an adult helps them make the magnet. They will be very proud to give Dad a present that he can actually use!
